I would like to respond to Sheriff Tony Skinner's comment that I "was single-handedly responsible for doing away with the UAW's last active Union in Delaware County."
The TRUTH is that it is the Sheriff's job to negotiate the contract with the UAW. Sheriff Tony Skinner failed to bring a contract before the Commissioners. Sheriff Skinner still has the ability to recognize the Union and Tony Skinner has refused to do so. During negotiations, I was not the President of the Commissioners.
Tony Skinner failed to tell the citizens that in fact, the UAW filed a lawsuit against Sheriff Skinner for his failure to negotiate the contract. The Commissioners are NOT named in this lawsuit. The document speaks for themselves.
